Rockford prepares for 4-game road trip starting this Sunday in Milwaukee

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford Rampage of the Major Indoor Soccer League announce the release of the following players: defender Tijani Ayegbusi, midfielder Gary Brooks, forward John DeVae, defender Fabinho, defender Ibrahim Kante and midfielder Semir Mesanovic.

Ayegbusi, Fabinho and Mesanovic were released Monday. Brooks and Kante were let go over the weekend prior to Rockford's match against the Milwaukee Wave on Sunday. And DeVae was released shortly beforehand.

The Rampage (6-10) closed out their regular-season home schedule Sunday with a 16-10 loss to the first-place Wave (10-6) at the MetroCentre. The two teams meet up again at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at the U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee.

This marks the start of the Rampage's four-game road trip to cap off the regular season. Rockford is 3-3 on the road and holds a 3-2 head-to-head series lead against Milwaukee.
